Self Catering Motels

 

Golden Chain When you purchase your Kiwi Combo Pass, you will have decided to purchase either Blue or Gold motel vouchers.  Please take the time to familiarise yourself with the Blue and Gold options to avoid disappointment during your travels.

If you wish to upgrade your blue vouchers to gold:
If you have purchased Blue motel pass vouchers and you have not made prior reservations, you may choose to stay in a Gold category motel (subject to availability) by paying a surcharge of NZ$15.50 (incl. GST).  The surcharge and Blue voucher will be collected on arrival by the motel.

One bedroom unit upgrade:
If you have purchased open dated single/double/twin studio vouchers and a one bedroom unit is provided, a surcharge of NZ$20.50 (incl.GST) will apply in addition to your voucher.  The surcharge is payable direct to the motel.

Two bedroom unit upgrade:
If you have purchased open dated single/twin/double studio vouchers and a two bedroom unit is provided, a surcharge of NZ$39.00 (incl.GST) will apply in addition to your voucher.  The surcharge is payable direct to the motel.

If you are travelling on Gold motel pass vouchers and wish to stay in a Blue category motel, there will be no refund.

Full Service Hotels

 

Go Kiwi Hotels When you purchase your Kiwi Combo Pass, you will have decided to purchase either Silver, Gold or Platinum hotel vouchers.  Please take the time to familiarise yourself with these options to avoid disappointment during your travels.

If you wish to upgrade your silver vouchers to gold:
If you have purchased silver hotel pass vouchers and you have not made prior reservations, you may choose to stay in a gold category hotel (subject to availability) by paying a surcharge of NZ$39.75 (incl. GST).  The surcharge and silver voucher will be collected on arrival by the hotel.

If you wish to upgrade your gold vouchers to platinum:
If you have purchased gold hotel pass vouchers and you have not made prior reservations, you may choose to stay in a platinum category hotel (subject to availability) by paying a surcharge of NZ$50.60 (incl. GST).  The surcharge and gold voucher will be collected on arrival by the hotel.

If you are travelling on platinum hotel pass vouchers and wish to stay in a gold category hotel, there will be no refund. 

If you are travelling on gold hotel pass vouchers and wish to stay in a silver category hotel, there will be no refund.
